Robert Hudson is a UKCP psychotherapist, Certified Sex Addiction and Trauma (CSAT) specialist with over 10 years of experience, and is the founder and clinical director of the Hudson Centre for Psychotherapy and Recovery in central London. Robert not only specialises working with sexual addicts individually, but has initiated the implementation of various group programmes.
Robert has been a supervisor with over 5 years’ experience, qualifying through IITAP.
Helping therapists and counsellors who work singly and in groups to help people with sex addiction, compulsive sexual behaviour, developmental trauma, and co-dependency. I mainly offer Supervision online and telephone. I draw on diverse influences in my work including Winnicott, John Bradshaw, Pia Melody, Bessel Van der Kolk, Attachment theory, Mindfulness, Somatic Experiencing, and Neuro Affective Touch. I trained in Supervision at the Society of Analytical Psychology in 2006.
I work with individuals with sexual compulsivity, their partners, and with couples, and I provide supervision across this spectrum. I am a clinical, counselling & health psychologist (CPsychol HCPC reg) a member of the Register of Applied Psychology Practice Supervisors (RAPPS) and a senior psychologist specialist in psychotherapy (ROPSIP). I am a senior accredited sexual & relationship psychotherapist and supervisor (AccCOSRT UKCP reg), an ATSAC supervisor, and an emotion-focused therapy supervisor and trainer (isEFT cert).

I am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist and Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC. I trained with ATSAC in 2014 and am a former Chairman and Trustee of the organisation. I am registered with StopSO and a Clinical Associate with the Laurel Centre. My work with individuals and couples is informed by a wide range of modalities, models and frameworks including existential-phenomenological, trauma-informed, systemic, attachment, person-centred, CBT, chair-work, somatic focus, mindfulness, compassion-focused therapy and IFS.
I offer supervision services to both qualified counsellors / therapists and trainees. My supervision training was with the British Psychological Society (BPS). My aim as a supervisor is to be highly collaborative, to create a safe and supportive space, and help supervisees understand their capacities and responses to client, develop their skills and grow professionally, become aware of how clients affect them, reduce the risk of burnout, and help ensure that their work is appropriate and falls within the ethical and professional standards of their respective professional body.

I trained in PST at the end of the 90’s and was accredited by COSRT in 2004. I have been a supervisor since 2003 and accredited with COSRT in 2006. I have worked with Sexual Compulsion since 2007 and completed my ATSAC training accreditation in 2013. I have attended various additional trainings and CPDs including the SASAT {American model} with Patrick and Stephanie Carnes as tutors.
I have co facilitated compulsion groups for men over the last 9 years in Oxford and am currently working mainly with individual clients.
Bill has been working in the field of psychosexual psychotherapy (sex therapy) for 30 years and is an Accredited Supervisor and an Accredited Member with COSRT, a Registered Member with BACP and a member of StopSO (Specialist Treatment Organisation for the Prevention of Sexual Offending).
Core professional background training in mental health and general nursing prior to undertaking further training in psychosexual and relationship therapy and sex addiction.
He retired from the NHS in 2012 where he worked with adults with sexual problems concurrent with secondary mental health issues. He has supervised student nurses in the past and now supervises students undertaking psychosexual and sex addiction training.
Special interest and clinical experience working with clients presenting with; problematic sexual behaviours (sex addiction/compulsivity), paraphilias and fetishistic behaviours.
Eclectic therapeutic approach: integrative, psychodynamic and behavioural, depending on what best suits the supervisee.
I am a newly qualified supervisor and completed my Diploma in Clinical Supervision with Contemporary Institute of Clinical Sexology in 2023.
I am Accredited with COSRT on their psychosexual and relationship registers and adhere to their Code of Ethics. I trained in working with sex addiction with The Laurel Centre.
I offer supervision to qualified and trainee supervisees in the areas of compulsive sexual behaviours and porn addiction, psychosexual and relationship difficulties, working with individuals and couples. I supervise online or in-person in North Oxfordshire
