I am a qualified and experienced counsellor who specialises in the treatment of addiction-related issues. I am accredited by FDAP (Federation of Drug & Alcohol Practitioners) and also have a graduate diploma in psychology. I am equally comfortable working with substance addictions (alcoholism and drug addiction) and process addictions (sex and love for example). I do not work with gambling addiction or eating disorders as there are better qualified therapists out there for those particular presenting issues. A good place to start is always to meet for a thorough assessment and to consider the problems together with a view to putting together a treatment plan. An assessment comes with no obligations or expectations and can shine a bright light on problem areas.
