My background is as a specialist relationship and couples counsellor with over twenty five years’ experience.

I now also work with individuals and/or their partners where pornography, online sexual encounters, multiple sexual liaisons or use of sex workers is negatively affecting their lives and relationships. I have a level 5 Diploma in Sex Addiction Counselling through the Institute for Sex Addiction Training (ISAT) and awarded by the Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body (CPCAB).

Couples counselling has been described as ‘like piloting a helicopter in a hurricane’. Hence the necessity for an expert therapist experienced in the skills required. I also provide relationship counselling both privately and for Relate, with whom I qualified in 1996.

Sexual issues, affairs and betrayal, separation and divorce, communication patterns, life stage changes, ‘the neglected relationship’, pornography, online chat  and sex addiction, grief and loss and ‘creating something better’ are some of the many relationship issues I encounter. I am based in Crowborough, TN6, and generally work with clients from East Sussex and West Kent. I also am able to work using Skype or similar.
