Detailed Information

As an experienced psychosexual and sex addiction therapist (COSRT accreditated) I work with couples, individuals and partners struggling with sex addiction.
Are you using pornography, masturbation, cyber sex, escorts, chat rooms or other outlets to help you deal with life and is this now hurting you and those close to you? Trying to hide this you may have become more secretive and ashamed…afraid of being discovered.
It can be hard to know what to do to get back control of your life.
I offer a confidential, non judgemental space to explore the impact that out of control sexual behaviour has and a way to move forward.

    Further Information

I am a couple and individual counsellor and psychosexual therapist (accredited with COSRT) who specialises in Sex Addiction and Emotionally Focused Therapy.
I’ve been in practice for over 17 years and mainly work privately.
I supervise (Casework Supervision Diploma Relationship Scotland) for Brightlight (previously Couples Counselling Edinburgh), Relationship Central Scotland and also counsellors in private practice. I specialise in working with therapists (students and fully qualified) who offer Sex Addiction, Psychosexual, Couple, Individual or Partners Therapy.
My early experience as a psychiatric nurse and now yoga teacher and nutrition coach have given me a holistic approach to the relationship we have with our physical bodies and how this impacts on our intimate relationships and sexual experience.
The relationship I have with the counsellors that come to me for supervision matters hugely because of the impact this can have on the client counsellor dynamic. I make sure we have time for this relationship to develop.
On offer is an open invitation for counsellors to bring both their perceived strengths and weaknesses for deeper exploration in supervision. I aim to offer a challenging and supportive environment where we can come together and explore what lies in a less conscious place for the therapist working with the sexually addicted client.
