I specialise in counselling and psychotherapy with people struggling with a wide range of problems, including sex, love and porn addiction, and other compulsive sexual behaviours, and now have many years of experience in this field.  I also provide therapy to partners of individuals with a sex addiction.  I work in an integrative way, informed by Gestalt training and qualifications.  My professional experience includes working with young people, men and women, as well as couples (both same sex and heterosexual), with people from different cultures, backgrounds and sexualities, with many different kinds of problems.

I have over 30 years  experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist, which includes my own private practice, and have as a counsellor to employees of national organisations, a TV film company, the emergency services, a number of charities, and several employee assistance programmes.

I am an accredited counsellor/psychotherapist with the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy and am also an accredited therapist with ATSAC, and have a Professional Certificate in Sexual Addiction.   I also have a certificate in Advanced Clinical Practice in Couple’s Therapy, which includes specific training in human sexuality and sexual difficulties.

My therapy room is private, comfortably furnished, and in a quiet residential area of Newquay.  To maintain discretion and confidentiality, there are no signs indicating that this is a psychotherapy practice.  There is on-street parking nearby, and I am also within walking distance of bus and train stations.  Newquay airport is about five miles away.  Just to let you know that for people with a physical disability, there are four steps between the street and my therapy room.

I offer daytime appointments starting at 9:30 a.m. with my last appointment usually at 5 p.m.  I may be able to offer you an appointment at short notice.  My fee is £60 for an hour’s session.  Couple’s therapy is £75 per hour.  I offer a half-hour introductory telephone consultation for £20.
