I specialise in counselling and psychotherapy with people struggling with a wide range of problems, including sex, love and porn addiction, and other compulsive sexual behaviours.  I also provide therapy to partners of individuals with a sex addiction.  I work from a Gestalt and integrative theoretical perspective.  My professional experience includes working with young people, men and women, as well as couples (both same sex and heterosexual), with people from different cultures, backgrounds and sexualities, with many different kinds of problems.

I have over 25 years working as a counsellor and psychotherapist, which includes my own private practice, working as a counsellor to employees of national organisations, a TV film company, the emergency services, charities, and several employee assistance programmes.

I am an accredited counsellor/psychotherapist with the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy and am also an accredited therapist with ATSAC,  with a Professional Certificate in Sexual Addiction.   I also have a certificate in Advanced Clinical Practice in Couple’s Therapy, which includes specific training in human sexuality and sexual difficulties.

My therapy room is comfortable, private, well furnished, in a quiet residential area of Newquay, with no outward signs indicating that this is a psychotherapy practice.  There is on-street parking nearby, and I am also within walking distance of bus and train stations.  Newquay airport is about five miles away, and there are four flights a day from Heathrow to Newquay taking just over an hour.  For people with a disability, I have four steps between the street and my therapy room.

I offer daytime and some evening appointments, and can often offer an appointment at short notice.  My fee is £55 for an hour’s session.  Couple’s therapy is £65 per hour.
