In 70’s I worked as a nurse therapist in psychotherapy in Edinburgh then psychosexual therapy since the early 80’s in the NHS in Family Planning services. During that time I have been supervised by many wonderful people. Also trained in Relationship therapy. I am accredited therapist and supervisor I am also accredited by COSRT & CSRP and UKCP registered.
Since1996 I have been working with clients who are concerned with out of control behaviour that has an impact on them and their intimate partners. I also see clients who cross into illegal sexual behaviour.
I am delighted to offer supervision for all the above. I see my role to support and enable and challenge all supervisees to develop their therapeutic work with their own models and processes to offer clients a valuable experience. I also offer consultancy to therapists training to become supervisors. I live in Edinburgh and can work Face to face or in other ways.

The primary focus is to address the clients expressed concern, however often other issues come to light that also need to be addressed.
Such as sexual dysfunction mental health issues, unresolved grief and work/life balance concerns.
Clients may want short-term therapy. These problems can take sometimes address and the therapy process is seldom short-term. Assessment can help clients define their recovery journey
