By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.

Membership

Your membership with ATSAC will not begin until you have satisfied the membership requirements and signed and returned a membership form accepting our full terms and conditions.

Your membership will only commence from the issue date of your membership number. At any point until this, membership can be cancelled by either party and a full refund will be given.

Membership is offered in 3 categories: Student, Associate or Qualified.

Student – For those actively studying a qualification in the specific CSBD area, usually with an ATSAC approved course provider.

Associate – For those interested in the field of CSBD who are not therapists or counsellors.

Qualified – For those who hold a professional qualification in counselling or psychotherapy and have completed a recognised training course in sex addiction/CSBD counselling.

Members must abide by ATSAC’s stated vales and be supportive of ATSAC’s vision and mission  (click here for full description)

Members must not advocate or use conversion therapy or derivative thereof which assumes certain sexual orientations or gender identities are inferior to others, and must not see to change to suppress them on that basis.

Members must advise ATSAC if they have ever faced disciplinary procedures by an employer, had a membership of a professional body refused, or been the subject of an upheld complaint against them.

Should a member face a new disciplinary procedure of any kind, they must inform ATSAC within 14 days and agree to share information regarding this procedure. Failure to provide this will result in membership cancellation.

Qualified ATSAC members will be asked to supply proof of continued professional membership every 36 months. Failure to provide this will result in membership being cancelled.
