My Counselling and supervision practice is accredited by The National Counselling Society. As a supervisor I work with supervisees who help clients with specificity but not exclusively, compulsive sexual behaviours and their partners. I offer supervision in a collaborative manner, assisting supervisees to develop their individual needs, whilst providing, supportive, educative and normative function. Assisting in identifying strengths and areas for development and encouraging supervisees to set their own objectives.
My aim in supervision is to offer a trusting relationship in which the therapist is able to reflect, receive support, maximise the effectiveness of their therapeutic relationships, monitor and safeguard the interests of their clients, maintain ethical standards and develop and grow as a therapist.
I have been a counsellor for 20+ years (BACP Accredited since 2012) and a supervisor since 2009. In 2016 I gained the ISAT Diploma in Sex Addiction and am a member of StopSO.
I really value my own supervision and understand that working in this field throws up additional challenges at times. I use an Integrative approach and am happy to work with qualified and trainee therapists, either in person or online.

Chi is NMC Registered and accredited psychotherapist of both BACP and COSRT with over 20 years’ experience in Mental Health and Sexual Health. Chi offers a supportive, mentoring and learning environment in which a non-defensive exploration of the therapeutic work can be undertaken. During supervision, Chi aims to facilitate reflection on the therapist’s way of relating to the clients through discussion of their own feelings, thoughts, behaviour and therapeutic approach.
I currently supervise therapists whose clients present with sexual addiction or partner issues and give group supervision to counsellor at a non-residential addiction treatment centre. I also supervise Integrative therapists who have a wide range of clients, this includes coaching to take MSc and DcPsych examinations. I hold the Certificate in the Theory and Practice of Supervision from the Metanoia Institute. Supervision is offered in person and also online.
