The freedom to explore how clients affect them, reduce the risk of burnout and awareness of secondary and vicarious trauma, and help through an annual review of the code of ethics that their work is appropriate and falls within the ethical and professional standards of their respective professional body.

Listing Description

My aim in supervision is to offer a trusting relationship in which the therapist is able to reflect, receive support, maximise the effectiveness of their therapeutic relationships, monitor and safeguard the interests of their clients, maintain ethical standards and develop and grow as a therapist.

I have been a counsellor for 20+ years (BACP Accredited since 2012) and a supervisor since 2009.  In 2016 I gained the ISAT Diploma in Sex Addiction and am a member of StopSO.

I really value my own supervision and understand that working in this field throws up additional challenges at times.  I use an Integrative approach and am happy to work with qualified and trainee therapists, either in person or online.
